This is a quiet RV park convenient to Mt. Rainier National Park. The location is in a lovely setting on Mayfield Lake, with beautifully landscaped grounds. There are also two types of cabins that would be good accommodations for those without RVs. Most of the sites are shaded and among the trees. Definitely ask for the shaded sites. The laundry has only two washers and dryers, so you get exclusive use of those machines. That was convenient for us. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a beautifully maintained RV resort perfectly situated to use as a home base for trips to Mt. St.Helens or Mt. Rainier. The hosts were friendly & happy to share their knowledge of the area. The sites are generous and well treed with stunning views of Mayfield Lake. The flower gardens are a delight to wander through. Our dogs were treated to the very best dog park/run we have ever come across whilst traveling. We stayed for 3 nights in early June and look forward to a return visit to this lovely resort!

This is a beautifully maintained family owned RV park off the beaten path. Owners are quite friendly and helpful. The park is naturally shaded by many evergreen trees in a forest type setting which would probable hamper satellite reception if you choose not to use the complementary cable. There are terraced flower gardens, Koi ponds and fountains at the entrance with nice clean bathrooms/showers. The park is right on the lake shore with many spots overlooking the river. We stayed after the Memorial Day rush and before school was out so it was very quiet and peaceful. Our group stayed in spots 68-71 in 25+ foot trailers and one motor home. Our spots were clean and fairly level. They all had newer tables, fire pits, privacy fences and full hook up with cable-everything worked as advertised. Note that this park is overlooking the river and does not really have beach access except for boating docks. Ike Kinswa State Park is right down the road for kids play. One of the better W. Wa. resorts we have stayed at and we will definitely stay again.
